Al Ain University concluded the second season of the Sports Excellence Championship for secondary school students, organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs at the Al Ain campus from 12 to 22 January 2026, as part of its efforts to support school sports activities, identify promising athletic talents, and strengthen the role of sports in shaping students’ character and developing their skills.
The championship featured 25 secondary schools from Al Ain City, with students competing in a dynamic, competitive atmosphere of enthusiasm and sportsmanship, under an organizational framework that reinforced the values of discipline, teamwork, and fair play.
The competition concluded with Al Khalil International Private School claiming first place for the second consecutive year, followed by Dar Al Uloom Private School in second place, while Tawam Model Private School secured third place, after a series of strong matches that reflected high technical standards and outstanding athletic performances.
The championship aimed to provide a structured school sports platform that would refine students’ abilities, encourage regular physical activity within an organized educational setting, strengthen communication between educational institutions and schools, and reinforce sports as a tool for building an active and well-balanced generation.
Al Ain University affirmed that organizing the second season of the Sports Excellence Championship builds on the success of the first season and reflects its commitment to supporting community initiatives and extracurricular activities, contributing to empowering students and preparing them for active and effective participation in various aspects of life, both within and beyond the educational environment.
